Tournaments
All-Star Nationals
Every year there is a tournament called the All-Star Nationals. Every league is invited to attend and the best players from the league can play in this tournament. The CSSL pay for all the tournament fees for this tournament. The All-Star Nationals are held in Birmingham and has three levels of competition. The CSSL has been entered in the lowest competition recently due to injuries but performed well regardless.

Single Sex Nationals
One of the tournaments that the CSSL are involved in is Single Sex Nationals. This is basically a tiered competition split into two groups. Since 2007 the CSSL have entered an all female team, the Besoms, into this tournament.
In 2009 the Besoms qualified into the lower competition final but unfortunately lost the game by one run.

Any female in the CSSL can enter to play in this tournament, if you would like to play contact Laura Cameron.
Nationals
Every year the top two teams in our league qualify to play in the Co-ed National tournament.
For the past 4 years the top team from the CSSL, the Saltires, have qualified to play in the B level nationals.

The second team to qualify for the 2010 nationals is the Fockers but as they are one of the two teams to make up the Legends touring team they gave up the place and put Legends forward for it.
Legends
Two of the teams that play in the league have formed a co-ed touring team called the Legends. The Legends have been a team since 2006 and have played tournaments all over the UK including the C level Nationals for three years running.
This year the Legends have qualified to play in the C Nationals again, but have been put into a slightly higher competition level due to a great performance last year.
