There are 8 teams that make up the CSSL league. This may not seem a lot but it works well and teams play each other two times. The top two positions at the top of the league table qualify for the Nationals (see ‘Tournament’ page for more details).

At the end of each Outdoor season there are awards handed out for the league winners, Most Valued Players (male and female), Most Improved Players (male and female) and Umpire of the year.

In 2009 our league winners were the Saltires, meaning they qualified for the 2010 Nationals. The Most Valued Players were Paul Sweeney (Fockers) and Courtney Buchanan (Saltires), most improved players last year were David Tracey (Pimps) and Sharon Currie (Pimps). Stephen Coyle (Avalanche Rocks) won the Most Valued Umpire.
